Post Creation

Creating high-quality text posts is the core functionality of FeedBoss.

Generation Modes

FeedBoss offers two powerful modes for content creation, selectable via the toggle above the chat input:

1. Single Post Mode

Perfect for creating a specific, high-quality piece of content with deep focus.

  1. Select Mode: Ensure the toggle is set to Single.
  2. Input Your Topic: In the chat, describe your topic or paste a URL.
    • Example: "Write a LinkedIn post about the importance of remote work culture."
  3. Select a Style (Optional): Choose a "Content Style" from the top-left dropdown.
  4. Review: The AI streams the generated post directly into the editor for immediate review.

2. Batch Post Mode (Multiple)

Ideal for brainstorming, A/B testing, or creating a week's worth of content at once.

  1. Select Mode: Switch the toggle to Multiple.
  2. Input Topic: Describe the theme for your posts.
    • Example: "5 different posts about leadership mistakes."
  3. Generate: FeedBoss creates 5 distinct variations simultaneously.
  4. Action Items:
    • Review: View all 5 drafts in a grid layout.
    • Refine: Select one or more drafts and use the chat to refine them (e.g., "Make the selected posts shorter").
    • Schedule/Publish: Use the quick actions on each card to schedule or publish individually.

Refinement ( Single Post Mode )

Rarely is the first draft perfect. FeedBoss provides tools to polish it:

  • Manual Edits: Click directly into the editor to tweak words or sentences.
  • AI Refinements: Use the chat to request changes.
    • Example: "Make the hook punchier" or "Add more emojis".

My Posts

Your posts are saved automatically as you write and refine them, so you never lose your progress.

  • Auto-Save: Every generated draft is automatically stored in your library.
  • My Posts Tab: Access all your saved and scheduled posts in the "My Posts" section of the sidebar. Here you can see the posts by status (Draft, Scheduled).

Quick Actions

Each post card in the My Posts section includes quick action buttons:

  • Publish: Instantly publish the post to your connected LinkedIn account.
  • Edit: Edit the post.
  • Reschedule: Reschedule the post for a later time.
  • Delete: Delete the post ( Available from three dots menu ).

[!NOTE] You must have a LinkedIn account connected before you can use the Publish button. Navigate to Settings > LinkedIn to connect your account.

Version History

Every time you make changes to a post, FeedBoss automatically creates a version snapshot, allowing you to track your post's evolution and restore previous versions if needed.

How Versions Are Created

Versions are automatically saved when you:

  • AI Refinement: Each time you ask the AI to refine or modify the post (e.g., "Make it shorter" or "Add more emojis").
  • Manual Edits: When you manually edit the post content in the editor.

Accessing Version History

  1. Click History Icon: Look for the version history button (usually in the top-right corner of the post editor).
  2. Browse Versions: A drawer will open showing all previous versions in reverse chronological order.

Version Information

Each version displays:

  • Version Number: Sequential numbering (e.g., Version 1, Version 2).
  • Timestamp: When the version was created.
  • Source Badge: Indicates how the version was created:
    • AI Refined: Changes made through AI conversation.
    • Manual Edit: Direct edits in the editor.
  • Character Count: Number of characters in that version (helpful for staying within LinkedIn's limits).
  • Preview: A snippet of the content.

Restoring a Version

  1. Select a Version: Browse through the version history.
  2. Click Restore: Click the restore button on the version you want to revert to.
  3. Confirm: A confirmation dialog will appear showing the content that will replace your current post.
  4. Done: The selected version's content will replace your current post content.

[!NOTE] Restoring a version creates a new version, so you never lose any history. You can always go back to the most recent version if needed.
